Don’t know what’s going on in the rest of the world but CZ has decided to skip september and October and move straight into November as far as weather is concerned, so its a good thing Jamtech Foundation and Sharkslayer are giving us some heat!
The awesome Emynd injects his club magic into Cee Lo’s anthem for all the the guys who have been dumped for not being “financially stable”… (I think most of us can relate to that!)

Klasse is the new house label out of Berlin the their debut release Bartok but Luca Lozano & Sacha Robotti is out now and well worth picking up of you are into that quality house sound! They are gonna drop the occasional free edit/bootleg and here is one of them! So after checking that out get your selves over to Beatport and grab the EP!
Been a bit lax with posting recently, what with catching Mackerel and enjoying car ownership again… Still, what better way to get back on it than a free E.P to download from one of our favorite label’s Nighshifters! Their ever generous boss Dj Donna Summer has given us this brand spanking new Hostage E.P to give out free, and it’s a corker! Dubby, ravey, garage tinged, with twists or orchestral maddness to brighten up a wet August day.
‘Everyone knows that Hostage is an unstoppable music-making beast of legendary proportions pumping out hit after hit, week in and week out. And he’s been a busy, busy boy since his Radio 1 Essential mix earlier in the summer, playing alongside Annie Mac at the Manchester Apollo, Rockness Festival and he set the Arcadia Afterburner stage at Glastonbury ablaze -literally! Not to be restrained in the slightest, he’s back with 2 killer new tunes on this, his first free Ep on Nightshifters.
With “Roll” we see Hostage shows us a slightly more subtle hand, well, that’s before the bass drops! With “The Ba$$” he’s back at his no-holds-barred-kicking-down-the-fucking-rave-door approach with one of the most ridiculous noise-bass drops you’ll hear this year. It’s massive!!
With tracks this good, we had to pull together some remixes to make a nice tidy package for you so we asked Samo Sound Boy to turn on his Bubblin machine to bring you a bouncy dancehall flavored remix of the lead track while Figure takes the bass for a wobbly thrill ride. Nightshifters honcho Dj Donna Summer smacks you with some garage-flavored orchestral-rave to round out the set. That’s not a genre you see too often, now is it?’
LOL Boys dropped the brilliant Tribal Guarachero influenced Counting (123) on Palms Out Sounds earlier this week! Grab it at all good MP3 stores, if you are to pikey to do that then they gifted us a freebie!
New M.I.A records usually come with thousands of remixes as our inbox shows, it always takes sometime to weed out the good ones, this one from an old favourite of ours Nacey takes a totally different approach, and I like it!
About to make the long drive back from Italy to Prague so been sniffing around online for some mixes and came across a couple of things on the Hollaboard, one of which is this Bounce remix/blend of Dollars (the most remixed/blended track of recent times) from the mighty Emynd, loving that New Orleans sound, finally got a run of good gigs coming up again after the annual July slump, so this is gonna be a regular feature!
We love posting your music, but we get a lot of mail, make it easier for us to help you by sending us all links to the music along with tracklist (if its a mix) a photo, links to your website/myspace/twitter etc and a little bit of info. Cheers!
